Join us in Rock Hill for some Thursday Night Thunder! Our criterium series is hosted by The Chad Andrews Coaching. TNT is a USA Cycling-sanctioned series, so you will need USA Cycling racing license. If you are new to the sport you can try it out with a one day license!
What and When:
USA Cycling sanctioned races. (Upgrade points per USA Cycling)
8 Races. 2 Blocks.
1.1-mile, 22-foot-wide paved course at the Rock Hill Outdoor Center.
Dates coming soon. 4 Week spring series/ 4 week late summer series
4 GREAT courses located in the same spot!
1- Old Course: (Numbers on the left)
2- Reverse: (Numbers on right)
3-Tornado: Flat, fast, lots of turns. (Numbers on left)
4-“Points race” Old course.

Points Race Details:
Details: There will be 4 sprint segments:
Cat 1/2/3: 5 laps, 5 laps, 5 laps with final sprint.
Everyone else 3 laps, 3 laps, 3 laps and final Sprint.
Each race will be a rolling start. Each segment will have 1 controlled lap (This could change, we could start racing immediately). After the controlled lap, the official will start that segment. At the end of each segment …those riders who have been dropped or pulled will filter in behind the main peloton, rinse and repeat (4 sprints) for your scheduled amount of race time! Whoever has the most points wins the race. *If you get dropped on the 4th segment you will be scored where you finish.
Scenarios:
1-A rider goes up the road and stays away during segment one? They get maximum points!
2-All the riders stay together for each segment, then sprint. Points will be awarded at placings.
3- Race blows apart in a segment? Points awarded at finish of that segment.
Think of it as 4 races in 1~ :). If you get dropped in a segment you have 3 more chances!
This concept is not just for sprinters! Many times each segment has its on race vibe 😜
Pricing:
Each race is $30.00

Categories:
5:30pm. Men 4/5 + Cat 4/5 Women (Scored Separately): 30 minutes.
6:05pm. Masters Men 45+ 4/5 + Masters Men 45+ 1/2/3. (Scored Separately) 40 minutes.
6:50pm. 45 minutes. Men 1/2/3 + Women 1/2/3 (Scored Separately.)
Where: Rock Hill Criterium Course. Start line location.
